Most outdoor sessions take place 60-90 mins before sunset and are about an hour of session time, and it's SOOOO worth it!

Please block your evening for prep & our time together! If it's a dark, overcast day, we will want to bump up our time a tad.
I'll direct you! Yes, we will get the Christmas Card shot, plus natural poses, games, and movement to create fun moments & memories.
The REALLY Fun Part
Within three weeks of your session, you'll receive an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready! You choose your album design, and a month later you'll enjoy recounting memories with your kids while you pour through your book together.
Add-ons
You will be offered a few add-ons at time of booking, including but not limited to: a custom designed album, pre-session Hair & Makeup services, a bouquet of flowers, and a video.

What should we wear?
Once you finalize your booking, you'll receive my Prep Guide! I'm available to help if you still have questions.
May we bring our dog(s)?
Yes! Mention it so we can find a location that is perfect for your family.
Note: remember to bring some treats to keep them attentive for the Christmas Card shot, plus a favorite ball for playful pics!
Can we choose the location for our photo shoot?
After finalizing your booking, I'll send over my location guide! It includes need-to-know info about each location so you can quickly narrow down which options suit you best.
If you have a special place in mind- your home or AirBnB, let's chat about the option! I take pics at many homes & vacation rentals, and will be honest if I think your location is well suited.
May we combine a Family with a Senior session?
I LOVE how you're thinking, family pics right now, too!!!
If your senior really does just need one pic for the yearbook, this option works.
If your senior would like the Senior Session Experience with multiple portraits, I highly recommend they have a session of their own. Message me so we can discuss your vision! Scroll up on the page to message me or hop over to SENIORS for more info.
May we include our parents/the grandparents for a few pics?
Absolutely, yes!!!
This matters, you want pictures with your parents in them and them with their grandkids.
Adding grandparents doesn't count as extended family, they may attend any session.
This may change the dynamic of your session, so that is something to consider as well. Happy to chat about it!
What happens if rains? I mean, PNW :D
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we will discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding an indoor location.
Rain does happen! Most often it works out.
Fine print
Prices are subject to WA state sales tax. Prices are subject to change and are non-negotiable. Rate honored once your session is booked.
If the client cancels the contract prior to the session date or fails to show up for their session for any reason, all monies paid shall be retained by Courtney Holcomb Photography in order to offset loss of business.
Holiday rate may apply on holidays and holiday weekends.
Images are delivered in both color and black and white
All digital images (jpg form) include a print release assigned to the client. Courtney Holcomb retains the rights to all images.
Credit cards accepted. Retainer due upon booking, balance due before your session. Inquire about a payment plan.
